Status Conference Scheduled In GREAT WHITE Nightclub Fire
March 14, 2006The Associated Press is reporting that a pre-trial conference is scheduled for this afternoon in The Station nightclub fire criminal case.
The status conference is for Jeffrey and Michael Derderian, the owners of the West Warwick club where 100 people died in a 2003 fire ignited by a rock band’s pyrotechnics.
A third defendant, former GREAT WHITE tour manager Daniel Biechele, pleaded guilty last month to 100 counts of involuntary manslaughter.
He's due to be sentenced in the spring, and his plea deal calls for him to serve a maximum of ten years in prison.
Charges are still pending against the Derderians.
